Privacy Policy

This policy explains what The Intimate Tales (operated by Kushal Baid, B23 Phase 1, Ayanagar, New Delhi 110047, India) collects, why, and your choices. Contact: kushal@thegamergage.com.

What we collect

• Guest ID and game data: a random ID, your chosen role (him/her), story progress, choices, gem balance and gem history. Needed to run the game.
• Age check: we only record that you confirmed you're 18 or over. We don't store your age.
• Purchases: order and payment IDs, pack, amount and currency. Your card, UPI or bank details go directly to Razorpay; we never see them.
• If you sign in: your email address, or your Google account ID and email. Used only to sign you in, keep your gems and progress on any device, and recover purchases.
• Abuse prevention: a bot check by Cloudflare Turnstile when a new guest starts, and a salted, one-way hash of your network address kept for 24 hours to limit how many new guests one address can create.
• Approximate country: from your connection, to show prices in the right currency and the right privacy choices.
• Analytics (with your consent where required): how you use the game (for example, which stories you start and finish), device and browser type, through Google Analytics.

Why we use it

To provide the game and your purchases (contract), to prevent fraud and keep records the law requires (legal obligation and legitimate interest), and to understand and improve the game (consent where required, otherwise legitimate interest).

Who we share it with

Service providers who process data for us: Cloudflare (hosting, database and bot checks), Razorpay (payments), Google (analytics and, if you choose it, sign-in) and Resend (sign-in code emails). We don't sell your data and we don't show ads.

Cookies and storage

We keep your session in a secure cookie and your settings and progress in your browser's local storage; these are necessary for the game to work. Google Analytics cookies are only set if you allow analytics. In the EEA, UK and Switzerland we ask first; elsewhere you can turn analytics off any time in Settings.

How long we keep it

Game data: until you delete it. Payment records: as long as tax and accounting law requires (typically up to 8 years). Analytics: 14 months.

Your rights

You can access, correct or delete your data, withdraw consent, and complain to your data protection authority (in India, the Data Protection Board of India). Use Settings → Delete my data in the game to delete your progress and gems instantly, or email us.

International transfers

Our providers may process data outside your country, with safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

Children

The game is only for adults. If you believe someone under 18 has used it, contact us and we'll delete their data.
